Class 7, FINAL PREPARATION: Choosing a JavaScript programming track

For this assignment we had to use three different websites to practice using JavaScript, which is different than Java. JavaScript is an OOP scripting language where as Java is an OOP programming language. Within these websites we get used to using JavaScript to create text, shapes, lines, variable, and other tools for creating webpages. We used Khan Academy Computer Science Academy, Learn Street, and Code Academy. All three were effective in learning JavaScript. I liked Khan Academy the best because it was more casual and user friendly. There were video guides along with the lessons where as the other two were all in text. Code Academy would be my second favorite and Learn Street was definitely the most intimidating site to use as a beginner in JavaScript.
