The Photoshop Effect
I believe that the phtoshop effect is real and dangerous to our generations view of body image. Many people my age and younger compare themselves to images they see online and in magazines. These images are extremely touch up and create an unrealistic view on reality.
This video shows how with the use of photoshop, photographers can make anyone look like a hollywood celebrity on the cover of a magazine. This is proof of what really happens when magazines create the images that are scene by the public. I like how the video questions whether this has an affect on those who see the images. I truly believe it does.
